A Message from our Director
Kristina Case
Welcome to Winter Term 2023 at Oregon State University!
As the Director of Academic Technologies, I am thrilled to be a part of this term and am looking forward to working with you all.
Winter Term is a wonderful time at OSU, as we have opportunities focus on intensive, in-depth courses that allow our students to dive deep into specific subjects and gain valuable knowledge and skills. As faculty, you play a crucial role in this process, and I want to thank you for your passion and dedication to your students and to the university.
We are here to support you. Whether you need help with Canvas course sites, classroom technology, or any other aspect of using technology to support teaching and learning, our team is here to assist you. We also offer a variety of professional development opportunities through our partnership with the Center for Teaching and Learning, including workshops and training sessions, to help you stay up-to-date on the latest educational technology.
In addition to the support provided by our office, I encourage you to take advantage of the many resources available on campus. Our library, for example, offers a wealth of information and support for teaching and learning, and our IT Service Desk is available to help with any technical issues you may encounter.
I hope that this Winter Term will be a warm and rewarding experience for you and your students. As the snow coats the coastal mountain range, let us embrace the winter season and all the opportunities it brings. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact me or my team. We are here to support you and make this term a success.
Thank you again for your hard work and dedication, and I look forward to working with you this term.
